Parker and the Numberman
Early... EP
A fantastic if not slightly unbalanced four-song suite by two local MCs that runs the gamut of hip-hop topics (trifling women, police problems, etc.). “Caught Up” is a ridiculously catchy ode to a snooping woman that might as well be the anti-“Single Ladies.” Almost an “extraspecialgood,” it’s evidence of maturation that will likely land them on the shortlist of best hip-hop groups in town soon enough. MS/parkerandthenumberman.

Chicagoans craft indomitable hardcore for uncertain times, full of mangled riffs, and larynx-shredding hooks—plus a touch of post-punk. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 13, 2023
A gorgeous record of blissed out shoegaze streaked with stardust and a glam rock edge from this San Diego-based artist. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 19, 2023
As you might guess from the title, this is strange and eerie synth music meant to conjure a mystical film where all is not what it seems. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 14, 2023
